General Concepts Personal Insurance, Auto, Boat and Property

All insurers in Puerto Rico have a "personal package" program. All these programs are based on the "HomeOwners," "Personal Auto," "Personal Liability," and others, of the Insurance Services Office (ISO).

Therefore, by studying and learning about the program of a particular insurer, it offers you the necessary knowledge regarding the "personal package" programs of other insurers.
The differences between each program of each insurer are related to small differences between them. For example, Insurer A provides $ 1,000. In garments, while insurance company B provides $ 2,000. Additionally, some insurers offer identity theft; others offer home assistance or travel assistance.
This course uses the forms from the Cooperativa de Seguros Múltiples, to whom we thank for their authorization for allowing us to use said forms and endorsements for general purposes of the course.

Even if you do NOT work with the policies of the Cooperative, you will obtain the benefit of the knowledge that will serve you in the same way with any insurance company in Puerto Rico. The context, design, endorsements, and forms of each insurer are similar.
We recommend that even if the above is the case, you check with the insurers that you do business with so that you can know and become more thoroughly familiar with the peculiarities of each insurer that subscribes to the "personal package." Success in your efforts. Richard L. Dunnam
